The AVA - Australian Veterinary Association reports outbreaks of suspected feline calicivirus-virulent systemic disease (FCV-VSD) at two veterinary practices in Sydney.

These occurred between December 2015 and January 2016. Several cats have apparently died from severe disease as a result. We spoke with well known Feline Vet Dr Kim Kendall from the Chatswood Cat Palace who shared her thoughts on the situation.
